Facility Security Officer - Catalyst Campus
Braxton Technologies, a Braxton Science & Technology Group Company, is searching for a Facility Security Officer to support the Catalyst Campus project.
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for the facility security program, both physical, industrial and personnel security
- Manages physical, industrial and facility security, storage and access control
- Drafts, maintains and updates corporate security procedures
- Proficient with Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and processes visit requests
- COMSEC Custodian experience
- Effectively manage the Insider Threat Program as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official
- Conducts annual/semi-annual self-inspections and briefs Corporate Management with results
- Adept knowledge utilizing the DSS Electronic Facility Clearance (eFCL) database
- Identifies and helps acquire and construct appropriate security control systems to include intrusion detection/access control systems.
- Ensures proper operation of physical security control systems
- Prepares for and runs facility reviews and inspections
- Processes new employee security clearances
- Tracks security clearance investigations and performs administrative support functions, including Joint Personnel Adjudication System and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing administration
- Review required forms, processes, and screens security forms
- Ensures document control security by safeguarding classified documents
- Support other company security disciplines with classified/secure projects
- Develop and conduct initial/recurring/annual security education training and briefings.
Minimum Security Clearance
- A minimum TS level clearance eligible for SCI, existing TS/SCI preferred
Required Experience
- Minimum of 10 (ten) years of demonstrated, recent experience in government, national industrial security programs within the DoD.
- Strong knowledge of government programs to include the following guidance
- DoD 5220.22, NISPOM
- DD Form 254
- NIST Special Publication 800-171
- UFC 4-010-05
- ICD 705
- CNSSAM TEMPEST/01-13
- Must be able to interpret and implement security policy, provide guidance, oversight and assistance to company personnel
- Must be able to demonstrate by knowledge and experience the ability to manage and oversee comprehensive Security Compliance Program
- Must have excellent written and oral communications skills and understand customer service
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, work independently and in team to solve problems and deliver solutions
- Consistently demonstrate proactive, polite and positive professionalism
Required Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Applicable DSSA courses
