Overview
The Ground System Architect is a responsible for designing and implementing ground system architectures integrating new Government missions into the Enterprise Ground System Architecture (EGS). The successful candidate communicates well with satellite builders and integrators and develops detailed architecture artifacts to meet customer requirements. The ideal candidate is familiar with Government Space Systems and the existing OPIR Ground Architecture.

Position Responsibilities
- Creates ground system architecture artifacts
- Supports customers through all stages of development of space system
- Demonstrated experience with modern deployment approaches such as cloud solutions, virtual machines, and experience with multiple platform deployments (i.e., Windows and Linux)
- Demonstrated experience with designing and deploying cyber-secure systems
Minimum Security Clearance
- Active Secret Clearance Required
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong, demonstrated understanding of Satellite Ground Systems Architecture, Engineering, Development, Integration and Test, and Operations Engineering fields
- Strong written and oral communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD TS/SSBI or SCI Clearance Desired
Education and Training Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Systems/Software, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline required
