Shift & Travel

                M-F, Days

                10% (or less) travel required

 

MAJOR FUNCTION: The SPI Senior Systems Business Quality Analyst will directly support the US Space Force’s Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Enterprise Ground Service (EGS) SATOPS, Prototyping, and Integration (SPI) program and its goal to deploy a universal command and control systems aimed at eliminating restrictions by continuously delivering enterprise tactical command and control services and applications that, when integrated with mission partner unique services and applications through the use of system engineering principles, will fully enable today’s modern warfighter.

Responsibilities - Essential Functions

  • Support development of complex services that interface with physical remote systems
  • Capture and develop analytic capabilities, that analyze and validate system with large data libraries
  • Create application performance analysis utilizing data from Mongo Databases and system metrics
  • Utilize statistical methods and analysis techniques, to identify trend analysis in large data sets and communicate the results to various stakeholders
  • Coordinate and interface with Product Owners and Team Leads and other developers and systems that require application-specific services
  • Ability to understand an integrated system of data analytic type databases and applications
  • Complete all initial and annual training requirements and disclosures as outlined by BSTG.
  • Perform all other duties as required, consistent with the goals, objectives and responsibilities of the department.

 

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Communications or related analytical field
  • 10+ years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree

 

Required Skills/Abilities – Competencies

  • Experience with the following:
    1. Solicitation and acquisition of mission partner objectives and outcomes
    2. Experience setting up and testing web or standalone applications  
    3. Facilitate and capturing of capabilities of integrated systems
    4. Diagnostic capabilities, breakdown of feature sets into achievable Agile/Sprints
    5. Experience setting test data, databases on Linux or Windows operating systems
    6. Assessment and testing of complex multifunctional distributed applications
    7. Requirements and test management toolsets such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
  • Experience with data mining and analytics of separate data sets
  • Creative, flexible and transitional capabilities in a fluid environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability and desire to work in a team environment

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively solicit and communicate mission partner objectives, verify and validate utilizing quality assurance best practices (test planning, test procedures, configuration management)
  • UI/UX concept validation and usability testing
  • Consultative mindset to troubleshoot and problem solve identified issues
  • Configuration management, software builds and release management

 

Security Clearance Requirements: Has the ability to obtain a DoD Secret and is clearable to TS/SCI.
