Ingenicomm, a Braxton Science and Technology Group (BSTG) division, has an opening to support our growing engineering business. This position requires a motivated individual who seeks to work in a team environment where creative solutions are encouraged and technical challenges are the norm.  The individual would work in Chantilly, VA supporting the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).  Candidates would interact extensively with the government client as a Systems Engineer in a multi-contract team environment encompassing end-to-end system engineering lifecycle activities.

Position Responsibilities

  • Identifies system integrity issues and solutions for the full system life cycle from concept to disposal. 
  • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems. 
  • Ensures designs are compatible with architecture and allocates requirements to segments. 
  • Analyzes science, engineering, business, and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. 
  • Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review IT system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. 
  • Provides tailored technical expertise consistent with the specific roles assigned, such as IT-IA-IM and products standards development/compliance, and FISMA and audit reporting. 
  • Participate in monthly Program Management Reviews (PMR) validating Contractor performance measurement data, process timelines; representing customer interests; and
  • Provide Program Management and Acquisition support as requested;

 

Minimum Security Clearance

  • Active DoD Top Secret with SCI and Poly

 

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • The Contractor shall support the drafting of policy, related initiatives, plans, strategies, and programs in accordance with NRO standards. 
  • The Contractor shall collaborate with stakeholders in an effort to establish direction and the crafting of associated policy documentation. 
  • The Contractor shall support review and approval coordination of draft policies leveraging NRO protocols that include formal dissemination and when required the orchestration of the NRO Decision Framework process. 
  • The Contractor shall support policy forums, boards, and working groups as required. 
  • The Contractor shall coordinate with stakeholders to develop or assist in creation of new IC ITE policies and instructions as required by the Government. 

Education and Training Required

  • Four year college (Bachelor’s Degree); preference for technical or IT related degree

 

Minimum Years of Experience

  • 5+

 

Additional Desired Qualifications, Skills, Certifications

  • ITIL Certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Enterprise IT Policy development
  • Domain knowledge of NRO Directives and Instructions; NRO Site Integration Standard (NSIS); ITIL® Service Lifecycle; ISP/ASP architecture;
  • Knowledge of current SIGINT/GEOINT ground architectures;
  • Understanding of Intelligence Community Information Technology Environment (IC ITE), specifically C2S
