Software Engineer
Ingenicomm, a Braxton Science & Technology Group subsidiary, seeks Software Engineers to NASA's Space Communication Network Services (SCNS) program at the White Sands Complex (WSC) in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Position Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, implement, test and document software for inclusion in high-profile satellite communications systems
- Work closely with system engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality, reliable systems to the end customer
- Help construct unit and system/regression level test cases
- Participates in design/code reviews for project/product initiatives
- Assisting in prototype and tool development
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Ada, C, C++, Java and/or LabVIEW
- Familiarity with XML, HTML, Tcl, Python, and shell scripting languages
- Experience with Linux and Windows development environments and tools (Eclipse, Visual Studio, etc.)
- Self-motivated and disciplined - able to work with minimal direct supervision
- Quick learner and enjoys the challenge of learning and doing something new
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to pass a security background check
Education and Training Required
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics or a related technical field
Required Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship is required
- Citizenship in a country other than the US is not permitted
Years of Experience
- Entry to senior level experience
- Experience with satellite communications protocols
- Experience with satellite ground data systems
- Experience with the Tracking and Data Relay Satellite system
- 5+ years of professional programming experience
- Basic knowledge of computer networking
- Experience with DEC Alphas and OpenVMS
- Experience with Wireshark
- Experience with memory and performance profiling
